Arkansas Democrat Gazette Fast Facts:
The daily newspaper of Little Rock Arkansas is
known as the Arkansas Democrat Gazette. With its
first edition being printed (as the Arkansas Gazette)
in 1819, that gives the newspaper the honor of
being the oldest newspaper still in print west
of the Mississippi. There is even a museum exhibit
that contains their first printing press. Their
current daily circulation is in excess of 180,000
and their Sunday circulation is well over 240,000.
